Frank Brannon Music

Frank is a singer/songwriter who plays guitar and hails from the Atlanta area. His down home, story-like style brings to mind the likes of Guy Clark, John Prine, Arlo Guthrie and Loudon Wainwright III. He has released two records titled "Dance on the Wind" in 2015 and "For The Love of It All" in 2017. They were recorded in Nashville with producer and Grammy nominated artist Thomm Jutz.

Frank has been playing his music for over a decade and has performed at benefits, house concerts and different local venues. His music is a mixture of folk and country, with a touch of blues. His songs are little vignettes of life that speak to universal themes of life, love, and hope. His compositions reflect his experiences.

Frank's records “Dance on the Wind” and “For the Love of it All” are included in the book, “Flannery at the Grammies“. Author Irwin Streight examines O'Connor's influence on Grammy Award winners Bruce Springsteen, Lucinda Williams, R.E.M., and U2, along with celebrated songwriters Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Sufjan Stevens, Mary Gauthier, Tom Wait, others and Frank!

Frank’s music and songwriting will also be featured with others in the March 2025 issue of “No Depression Music Journal” in accordance with Flannery’s 100 birthday

Frank’s song "Flannery's Waltz" is a song about his cousin Flannery O’Connor. The song is discussed in the book “Flannery at the Grammies” and was used in a news / documentary program "Flannery's Porch". You can find his music on all your favorite streaming services. 😎
